Support in development and optimization of SQL backend queries for report generation and data analysis.
Perform frontend development tasks using the JavaScript Libraries & .NET framework to enhance system usability.
Support the interoperability of the MIS with DHIS2, including data synchronization and API integration.
Assist in the integration of external systems such as eCBS and RFH ST portal with the MIS/DHIS2.
Ensure seamless data flow between Mercy Corps’ MIS and partner systems.
Generate periodic reports (weekly/fortnightly) and automate reporting processes where possible.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the MIS system, including data import/export processes.
Train staff and partners on MIS usage, data entry protocols, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support to field staff for mobile and web applications.
Provide technical backstopping for the MIS during the absence of the MIS Coordinator.
Any other task assigned by the management.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of professional experience in Management Information Systems (MIS), database administration, or software development.
Strong technical proficiency in SQL, .NET Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, and front-end development.
Demonstrated experience in DHIS2 implementation, API integrations, and system interoperability.
Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Prior experience within a Tuberculosis (TB) program or similar public health setting, with a firm understanding of key TB indicators and their use in program monitoring.
Ability to interpret data trends to provide actionable insights that support TB program decision-making and improve service delivery.
Experience collaborating with technical health staff to ensure the MIS captures data that accurately reflects program performance and meets all reporting requirements.
Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to strict data confidentiality and security protocols specific to sensitive patient-level health information.
