The Audi Environmental Foundation, in collaboration with One Young World is offering scholarships to support young leaders working on climate solutions to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.
The programme focuses on promoting environmentally compatible technologies, advancing environmental education and awareness, protecting natural resources essential for humans, animals, and plants, addressing climate change and resource scarcity, fostering sustainable behaviour, encouraging innovative solutions to environmental challenges, supporting climate equity and justice, empowering vulnerable communities, and protecting and restoring ecosystems.
Through this partnership, they aim to bring together emerging leaders who are actively contributing to tackling climate challenges through impactful and innovative approaches. The scholarship will support 10 selected individuals to participate in the global summit, offering them a platform to connect, collaborate, and amplify their work.
Selected scholars will receive full funding, including access to the One Young World Summit from 3 to 6 November 2026, hotel accommodation in Cape Town from 1 to 7 November, round-trip economy flights, meals during the summit days, transportation between accommodation and the venue, and exclusive participation in a pre-programme organised by the Audi Environmental Foundation on 2 November.
This opportunity is open to individuals aged 18 to 30 from all countries who demonstrate leadership potential, a strong understanding of local or global issues, and a proven track record of creating innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Applicants must be able to attend the summit in person in Cape Town from 1 to 7 November 2026. While most participants fall within the stated age range, candidates older than 30 may also be considered if they show significant impact, initiative, and engagement.
