Introduction

Paidar Development Organization (PDO) is registered in Pakistan as a society under the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860 (Registration No. RM/S/36 of 2005-2006, dated 14 April 2006, Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Multan). PDO also holds Provisional Registration as a Category (A) Charity with the Punjab Charity Commission under the Punjab Charities Act, 2018, and is a registered taxpayer with the Federal Board of Revenue. PDO works across Pakistan with a focus on inclusive, community-led development and humanitarian action. Its institutional experience spans education and human capital, skills and livelihoods, health and social protection, WASH, climate resilience and disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response, and community mobilization.

PDO’s operating approach combines local knowledge and community engagement with structured program management, partnership with public institutions, monitoring and learning, fiduciary controls, safeguarding, and accountability.
