SABAWON, a civil society organization registered under the Societies Act 1860, is implementing the Livelihood Support and Promotion of Small Community Infrastructure Program (LACIP) funded by PPAF/KFW in District Lakki Marwat and D.I. Khan. The project contributes to stabilization of fragile areas by enhancing living conditions and improving the quality of life of affected communities in 05 UCs of D.I. Khan and 06 UCs of Lakki Marwat.
Strengthening of identified value chains is a critical activity under this project. The consultancy will focus on mapping, diagnosing, and enhancing selected value chains to improve productivity, competitiveness, and sustainability of targeted groups.

Conduct detailed mapping of existing value chains in the project area.

The individual consultant shall have demonstrated capacity and capability to undertake a similar assignment. The following criteria will form the basis for selection:
Educational Background: A relevant degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Rural Development, or related fields.
Professional Experience: At least 4 years of progressive experience in value chain analysis, business planning, and livelihood development projects.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrated track record of completing 3–5 similar assignments involving value chain strengthening, market linkages, or enterprise development.
Language Proficiency: Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Urdu; knowledge of Pashto will be considered an added advantage.
Documentation & Reporting Skills: Ability to produce high‑quality analytical reports, business plans, and training materials; experience in stakeholder documentation and presentation.
Problem‑Solving Abilities: Capacity to identify gaps, propose practical interventions, and address operational challenges efficiently.
Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to coordinate with government institutions, NGOs, private sector actors, and local communities to maximize project impact and outreach.
