• Establish coordination with communities, School Administration, School management Committees (SMCs) relevant government departments & other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop weekly work plans for field visit and Social Mobilization Activities.
• Collect necessary baseline information about the target communities and School Catchment areas.
• Organize and facilitate Broad Based Community Meeting in each targeted village at different interval of time.
• Project activities Introduction and facilitate social mobilization dialogues.
• Formation/ Restructuring and strengthening of School Management Committees, WASH Clubs, Students Councils etc..
• Conduct & facilitate regular meetings with School Management Committees/ Parents.
• Formation of Mother Support Group in each School where ECE Classes are established
• Arrange & Facilitate awareness Sessions on Health Hygiene, Parenting skills, School environment improvement, Role of family and school in child holistic development. Importance of Community engagement in school affairs.
• Facilitate COVID-19 Protection and DRR awareness campaign in Project Schools Communities.
• Mobilize the community members to identify problems, find possible solutions and create sense of ownership for school and educational activities.
• Mobilize potential community leaders to advocate and promote the project initiatives/ activities in their communities and ensure active participation.
• Collect Data of out of school children, identify the reasons of dropout/ pushing the children out of schools and strategize/ mobilise to bring them in school.
• Provide relevant information as required by PO education and Regional Team.
• Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and record of all project activities.
• Conduct National Days Celebration events at school level with active participation of Parents, and Community.
• Helping Education officer and PO/ Regional Office in data Cleaning etc.
• Compile case studies/ success stories and Best Practice to reflect and showcase project impact on targeted beneficiaries.

• Any other task assign by supervisor and senior management.

• Masters/Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in development studies/ social sciences.

Must have 2 years of demonstrated experience in social mobilization experience with NGO/INGOs preferably in education projects

• Social Mobilization Skills and Knowledge about local community and community dynamics.
• Team Player and can work with Team of diverse background
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Effective interpersonal and intra personal communication skills.
• Builds relationship with beneficiaries; works and Communicates well with beneficiaries
• Language Skills: Fluent in Urdu and Sindhi (writing and speaking)

Proficient in MS Office, MS Word, Excel.
