JAQET is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the financial management, budgeting, compliance, and reporting functions of the organization. The role requires a detail-oriented and ethical professional who can ensure transparency, uphold financial integrity, and support the Trust’s mission through sound financial practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Prepare annual budgets and ensure spending remains within approved limits.
2- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial documentation.
3- Oversee daily financial operations, payroll, and reconciliations.
4- Ensure timely tax filings and maintain the Trust’s tax-exempt status.
5- Manage statutory deductions (EOBI, income tax, etc.) and ensure compliance.
6- Prepare financial statements for audit and liaise with auditors.
7- Coordinate with banks, donors, and regulatory bodies.
8-Manage renewals and filings with ICT, PCP, PEIRA, EOBI, and other authorities.
9- Provide financial inputs for proposals and donor reporting.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and audit processes.
Proven 3-4 years experience of managing financial operations in the nonprofit or education sector preferred.
Ethical, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
