UJALA, a School for Children with Special Abilities and Vocational Training Center, is a project of the Parents Voice Association. Established in 1986, It aims to nurture and encourage specially-abled students whilst spreading awareness amongst society. Catering to students with Autism, Down Syndrome as well as other intellectual Disabilities, it has become home to around 80 students, providing them with education and teaching them skills that help them throughout life. We strive to provide our children with a holistic experience, providing them with education, healthcare, transportation as well as meals. UJALA is one of the very few establishments in Karachi that endeavours to raise awareness about individuals with special needs and create an inclusive environment in the city by keeping the community involved. We welcome students through our Internship Programs and adults through our Corporate Awareness Program.
