• Should have hands-on experience in commissioning of the WASH projects, i.e. water filtration plant; UF, UV, RO (Reverse Osmosis) plants, Hand Pumps, Solar-based Water scheme, and WASH in schools.

  • Should have up-to-date knowledge of the use of equipment in water filtration systems.
  • Should know about water quality testing.
  • Should know water bore-holes and construction.
  • Supervise and be responsible for all the technical aspects of project implementation, make sure that contractors complete project work in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner with respect to standard engineering.
  • Provide feedback to the Area Office and the country office to assess the effectiveness and the impact of the projects and propose recommendations for improvement
  • Contribute to the development of constructive solutions to challenges identified by the community and contractors
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports to the Area Program Coordinator /Area Manager/ Country Office on the infrastructure development activities.
  • Develop the Feedback Report, Proposals, and all project-relevant documents with the consultation of the supervisor.

• DAE Civil Engineering with 2 Years of Experience.
• Excellent knowledge of water systems related networks (Water filtration systems, pipe materials, network accessories & valves, etc.).
  • Commitment to beneficiary accountability and humanitarian principles
  • High level of computer skills.
  • Local language with Urdu and English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Proven ability to build the capacity of partner/local organizations and community organization an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with INGO, NGOs (WASH) or public water and sanitation authorities a distinct advantage. High level of engineering designing programs / WASH (AutoCAD, Water CAD & MS Office, etc.)

• Demonstrates tolerance in understanding and support for others who may be operating in a language other than their ‘mother tongue’ and/or have additional skills in the local language.
• Proficient with various software programs, including MS Office, MS Word, and Excel.
