Job Description
- Receive, document, and report student wellbeing and child protection concerns in accordance with safeguarding protocols.
- Conduct initial risk assessments and escalate cases to the Head of Safe Schools HSS as required.
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of safeguarding and wellbeing cases.
- Identify early signs of emotional, behavioral, and safety concerns among students.
- Provide immediate, non-therapeutic support and facilitate referrals to appropriate services when needed.
- Deliver preventive wellbeing sessions on topics such as emotional wellbeing, anti-bullying, digital safety, and personal safety.
- Support implementation of Life Skills-Based Education LSBE and other student wellbeing initiatives.
- Guide teachers and staff on child protection, student wellbeing, and appropriate reporting procedures.
- Coordinate with counselors, school leadership, parents, and external service providers to support students.
- Monitor trends, prepare safeguarding reports, and contribute to a safe and supportive school environment.
Requirements

Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Training or certification in Child Protection, Safeguarding, Counseling, or Mental Health will be an advantage.
Experience- 2–5 years of experience working with children or adolescents.
- Prior experience in schools, NGOs, community programs, or youth-focused initiatives preferred.
- Experience in child protection, safeguarding, student wellbeing, counseling support, or case management will be an advantage.
