The Staff Nurse assists the shift team leader in planning, directing, and coordinating nursing care; monitoring; documenting patient care events; and recording disposable entries & consumption of supplies, their effective use, and the refill of used stock by the patient. The other roles are patient assessment, plan of care, patient & family education, participating in accreditations (PHC, be aware of policies of HR, IHHN, ICP, Nursing Manual SOP, etc., regarding safe practices, patient & family rights, safety of high-alert medication (HAM/LASA), and high-risk procedures. Interpret & demonstrate the IHHN's mission, ethics & goals in performance of duties.
