The Eisenhower Fellowship Program has announced its applications to support global leaders for a nearly six-week immersive program in the United States designed to foster collaboration and leadership development.
The program focuses on developing impactful projects, fostering professional relationships, building international dialogue, and creating collaborations that contribute to a more peaceful, prosperous, and just world.
They assemble visionaries from across the globe and invite them to participate in a blended experience that includes both in-person and virtual components. During the program, fellows develop a project, engage with American counterparts, and build long-term connections with their cohort and a global network of over 1,900 active fellows. The fellowship emphasizes leadership development, cross-cultural exchange and sustained engagement beyond the program duration.
They select fellows based on demonstrated leadership, future potential for impact, and commitment to long-term engagement with their mission of strengthening international understanding through dialogue. The program requires full-time participation, and selected fellows must secure leave approval from their workplace for the entire duration.
Eligibility requires applicants to hold citizenship or have at least five years of residence in the country they intend to represent. Individuals currently residing in the United States are not eligible for international programs. Applicants from countries where the fellowship is not active must demonstrate regional impact and provide a recommendation from a member of the global network.
Priority is given to candidates aged 32 to 45, although those slightly outside this range may still be considered if they meet other criteria strongly. Strong English proficiency is mandatory. Applicants who have received any fellowship within the previous two years are not eligible. Fellows must not use the program to pursue financial gain, business deals, or funding opportunities. Children and spouses are not supported under the fellowship.
