Coordinate with programme and field teams to conceptualize and produce IEC, advocacy, awareness, and visibility materials.
Write, edit, and proofread compelling content for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, donor reports, success stories, case studies, blogs, press releases, and campaign materials.
Support the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual communication products for internal and external audiences.
Assist programmes in designing and implementing awareness and behaviour change campaigns.
Ensure compliance with CHD, donor, and partner branding and visibility requirements in all communication products.
Understand and implement IHHN communication policies, guidelines, and protocols.
Digital Communications and AI-Enabled Content Development
Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance content creation, editing, graphic design, research, social media management, and communication planning while ensuring quality, accuracy, and ethical use.
Stay updated on emerging AI and digital communication trends and recommend innovative approaches for audience engagement and organizational visibility.
Demonstrate working knowledge of commonly used tools such as, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), CapCut, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, and similar platforms.
Use digital analytics and audience insights to improve communication performance and engagement.
Documentation and Knowledge Management
Compile communication data, reports, and success stories for quarterly and annual programme updates.
Maintain close coordination with programme and field teams to ensure timely collection and dissemination of communication content.
Support staff in presenting programme achievements, data, and results in a clear, accurate, and visually appealing manner.
Monitor communication activities and ensure proper documentation, archiving, and visibility of project achievements.
Develop and maintain communication templates, presentations, factsheets, and knowledge products.
Multimedia and Social Media
Manage and strengthen CHD's social media presence across relevant platforms.
Develop social media content calendars and engagement strategies.
Create and edit short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging digital channels.
Produce reels, motion graphics, video testimonials, event highlights, and awareness campaign videos.
Photography, photo editing, and visual storytelling skills will be considered an asset.
Monitor social media performance and prepare analytics reports to assess campaign effectiveness.
Media Relations and Coordination
Build and maintain professional relationships with online media organizations and influencers / digital journalists.
Support media outreach activities, story pitching, press events, and programme visibility initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors, printers, photographers, videographers, designers, and production agencies to ensure quality communication outputs.
Maintain an updated inventory of communication assets, including photographs, videos, publications, reports, case studies, and branding materials.
Requirements
Master's / bachelor’s degree in social sciences, preferably Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Skills
Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
Experience in video production, editing, motion graphics, and social media content creation.
Familiarity with AI-powered communication, design, and productivity tools.
Excellent English and Urdu writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
