Background
  • TORs for the Development of Enterprise Growth training Module

Shirakat Foundation invites sealed proposals from qualified and experienced individual consultants and registered organizations for the Development of the Enterprise Growth training module for Young Entrepreneurs.

    Background:

Shirakat is implementing the European Union (EU) funded “MANZIL: Youth leadership transforms their communities for inclusive economic growth, climate action, and good governance “project. The project will enhance youth entrepreneurship and employment by training marginalized PTY skill training beneficiaries who are self-employed or running businesses in entrepreneurship, enterprise management, and financial management, supported by expert mentorship and linkages to microfinance and markets.

It will transform existing youth organizations into youth-led CSOs through a holistic institutional development approach, strengthening their capacity in local engagement and advocacy while providing resources for small-scale development projects via the Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) modality. Youth will be equipped to take on leadership roles and actively participate in democratic and policy-making processes through leadership training, mobilization, and engagement interventions. Ultimately, youth will be connected to youth-led CSOs to amplify their voices to duty-bearers, establishing their agency as assets and agents of change within their communities and beyond.

    • CONTRACT PURPOSE AND EXPECTED RESULTS

    Purpose

To engage a consultant to develop an Enterprise Growth Training Module for marginalized youth entrepreneurs, equipping them with skills in entrepreneurship, enterprise management, financial management, mentorship, and linkages to microfinance and markets for sustainable business growth.

    Expected Results

The Enterprise Growth Training Module will equip marginalized youth entrepreneurs with advanced skills in entrepreneurship, financial management, and market linkages, enabling them to grow their businesses, access credit, and increase their incomes. Integrated mentorship and connections to microfinance and markets will lead to business stability and job creation within communities. The gender-sensitive, accessible training materials will ensure inclusive participation, particularly for young women entrepreneurs. Ultimately, the intervention will reduce youth unemployment, strengthen local economies, and develop a new generation of self-reliant entrepreneurs serving as agents of change.
