Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Pakistan and direct supervision of the Senior Human Resources Coordinator; and, in collaboration with relevant units at Headquarters and the Administrative Centres, the Junior Human Resources Associate will be responsible and accountable for managing the resources management functions in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Education
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
Relevant experience in human resources administration or personnel support functions.
Experience supporting administrative processes and delivering quality HR support services.
Experience working with confidential personnel information and maintaining accurate records.
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and email systems.
Previous experience with HRIS or ERP systems, preferably Oracle, is an advantage.
Previous experience with international organizations, humanitarian agencies, NGOs, or government institutions is an advantage.
Skills
Knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and administrative practices.
Familiarity with recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, and employee lifecycle management processes.
Proficiency in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
Understanding of leave administration, timekeeping, and HR data management processes.
Understanding of records management, document control, and confidentiality requirements.
Ability to prepare HR reports, personnel statistics, and employment-related documentation.
Working knowledge of the UN Common System and international organization HR frameworks is an advantage.
Languages
