  • Position Overview 

    This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Country Director, with end-to-end ownership of how i-Care engages with partner organizations, deploys funds, and delivers a high-quality donor experience. The role sits at the core of i-Care's model, ensuring that credible partners are onboarded and supported, funds are deployed efficiently and responsibly, and donors experience clarity, confidence, and impact in their giving journey. 

    We're looking for someone who combines analytical rigor with emotional intelligence someone who can engage thoughtfully with grassroots organizations, confidently interact with high-net-worth donors, and build  strong internal alignment within a lean team.

    Key Responsibilities 

    $  Programs & Partnerships (Charity Onboarding & Management) 

    • Lead and continuously refine i-Care's partner onboarding and due diligence framework, ensuring alignment with governance and compliance standards 
    • Conduct orientations and onboarding sessions for partner organizations on i-Care's processes, expectations, and values 
    • Ensure legal agreements, documentation, and compliance requirements are completed prior to onboarding
    • Maintain a dynamic partner database, capturing capabilities, program areas, and funding needs
    • Build long-term relationships with partner organizations, with a deep understanding of their programs and strategic priorities 
    • Identify opportunities to align partner projects with donor interests and facilitate meaningful collaborations 

    %  Grant Management & Disbursements 

    • Design and manage efficient, transparent, and compliant disbursement processes 
    • Review and approve Fund Utilization Plans (FUPs), while supporting partners in strengthening their planning where required 
    • Anticipate risks and operational bottlenecks, and proactively drive solutions to ensure timely disbursements
    • Ensure all disbursements are aligned with donor intent, internal controls, and regulatory requirements 

    &  Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) 

    • Develop and implement a tiered Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework across projects and partners
    • Build and manage dashboards to track project performance and fund utilization in real time
    • Standardize and oversee Fund Utilization Reports (FURs) and ensure timely submissions from partners
    • Translate program insights into donor-ready narratives, updates, and impact reporting
    • Use data and feedback loops to continuously improve program quality and donor confidence 

    '  Donor Experience, Engagement & Proposals 

    • Work closely with partner organizations to develop high-quality, compelling proposals tailored to donor priorities 
    • Build and maintain a curated pipeline of fundable projects for proactive donor engagement
    • Develop donor profiles and engagement strategies for high-potential and strategic donors
    • Identify opportunities for cross-partner collaboration to enhance scale and impact 
    • Represent i-Care in donor interactions, meetings, and events with professionalism, clarity, and credibility
    • Ensure a seamless and thoughtful end-to-end donor experience  from intent to impact
Requirements
    • At least a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field (Master's preferred) 
    • 7–12 years of relevant experience in the development sector, with exposure to program management, partnerships, and donor engagement 
    • Strong understanding of the nonprofit ecosystem, including compliance, reporting, and donor expectations
    • Demonstrated ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, and institutional donors
    • Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration, particularly in lean environments
    • High emotional intelligence, maturity, and the ability to navigate diverse stakeholders with respect and clarity 
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
