Introduction

Community Empowerment & Equity Development Organization (CEEDO) is a national-level, not-for-profit development organization registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on 5th September 2025. Prior to its formal registration, CEEDO had been actively engaged since July 2020 in implementing innovative poverty reduction and community development initiatives.

CEEDO's programmatic areas include Child Rights & Child Wellbeing, Education and Early Childhood Care & Development (ECCD), Child Protection and Safeguarding, Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment, Prevention of Child Marriage & Adolescent Development, Health & Wellbeing, Community Development & Social Mobilization, Livelihoods and Food Security, Climate Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction, WASH and Community Physical Infrastructure, Humanitarian Assistance and Early Recovery, and Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MEL).

Over the past five years, CEEDO has emerged as a national indigenous solution for delivering cost-effective, result-oriented, and replicable development models. Our approach ensures unprecedented benefits for marginalized communities at a remarkably low per capita cost. Unlike conventional high-cost development projects with limited impact, CEEDO introduces a paradigm shift through its Four-Dimensional Development Approach; “Integration, Participation, Impact, and Transparency”.

In addition to program implementation, CEEDO has built strong institutional capacity to provide one-window management services to development partners, including:

  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems.
  • Baseline studies and research surveys.
  • Mid-term and end-of-project evaluations.
  • Independent assessments for National NGOs, and civil society organizations.

Our portfolio includes:

  • Community development, social mobilization, capacity building, and institutional strengthening interventions for communities, Community Institutions (CIs), Community Organizations (COs), Village Organizations (VOs), Local Support Organizations (LSOs), teachers, students, and government officials in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh.
