E-Commerce Training for the Youth of Kurram

E-Commerce training for the youth of Kurram is a project under the Community Resilience Activity – North (CRA-N) to provide 06 month residential training to 20 youth of District Kurram in e-commerce and digital skills.

Focused objectives: (not limited to)

• To build a skill-based youth community in e-commerce and IT to promote digital entrepreneurship in the digital industries.
• To bridge the gap between the youth and digital employment and entrepreneurship.
• To uplift the lives of youth in Kurram through promoting the digital economy by offering digital skills & abilities to the youth.
• To provide opportunities and platforms to the youth for decent work and economic growth to satisfy the SDG # 8 in Pakistan.
• Target Community: Youth of District Kurram

Impact and outcomes:

1. 20 youth of District Kurram were trained on e-commerce and digital skills, and provided certification by SDC Pakistan.
2. During the course of training, 12 youth have designed and launched their e-commerce stores in the digital market.
3. According to the pre and post assessments, the youth has shown 85% improvement in their e-commerce knowledge and income.
