EOI - Organizations Working for Women with Disabilities Verified listing

AwazCDS Foundation Pakistan Centre for Development Services (AwazCDS-Pakistan) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization working since 1995 for the socio-economic development and political empowerment of vulnerable communities, particularly women and youth across Pakistan.

Under its Beyond Barriers Project, AwazCDS is working in selected districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to strengthen the capacities of women-led organizations and organizations of women with disabilities, promote inclusive employment opportunities, improve workplace policies, and address gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH).

Purpose

AwazCDS invites eligible Organizations of Women with Disabilities (OWDs) and Women Organizations (WOs) to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) through the prescribed mapping tool. The initiative aims to identify and engage grassroots organizations that can contribute to advancing disability inclusion, gender equality, and economic empowerment.

Expected Areas of Engagement

Selected organizations may be engaged in activities including:

• Capacity strengthening of women-led organizations and OWDs.
• Community mobilization and awareness campaigns on disability inclusion and gender equality.
• Advocacy against gender-based violence and harassment in workplaces.
• Support for disability-inclusive and rights-based training initiatives.
• Mobilization of women with and without disabilities for TVET opportunities.
• Participation in research, data collection, and evidence-generation activities.
• Dissemination of IEC and awareness materials.
• Participation in policy dialogues and stakeholder consultations.
• Strengthening GBVH referral pathways and services.
• Collaboration with employers, trade unions, TVET institutions, and other stakeholders to promote inclusive workplaces.

Target Districts

Note: One organization may apply for only one district.

Project Duration

Up to 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria

Only organizations meeting the following requirements may apply:

• Women-led organization or Organization of Women with Disabilities (OWD).
• Registered with the relevant government authority in Pakistan.
• Non-profit organization.
• Functional organizational bank account.
• Registered with tax authorities and possessing a valid NTN.
• Not involved in any unlawful activity or legal violations.

Selection Criteria

Preference will be given to organizations with:

• Strong presence and mobilization capacity in the target district.
• Office located at the district headquarters.
• Adequate financial and project management systems.
• Experience working with government departments and development partners.
• Experience in human rights, disability inclusion, and support to vulnerable groups.
