Responsibilities:
Facilitate all aspects of existing and forthcoming emotional and informational support programs for parents and caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome under the supervision of Senior Manager Family Support.
Facilitate all aspects of family enrichment activities under the supervision of Senior Manager Family Support.
Conduct Family First Contact meetings (guidance counselling meeting) with parents and caregivers to register their child with KDSP.
Liaise with relevant departments to have the concerns and needs of parents and caregivers addressed and follow through on the effectiveness of the intervention provided.
Monitor, record and evaluate impact and effectiveness of all existing and forthcoming emotional and informational support programs.
Research/initiate new avenues and areas within Family Support and facilitate in identifying and liaising within KDSP across Programs and external organizations for collaborations.
Liaise with the Awareness team for designing promotional content and to ensure visibility of Family Support services on digital media and publications.
Maintain the repository of referrals and facilitate families for external referrals.
Any other task as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC recognized institution preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Urdu.
Must possess basic computer skills with proficiency in Google sheets.
Ability to manage sensitive information and be privy to the importance of confidentiality.
Must possess an engaging personality with the confidence to represent the organization.
Highly organized, responsible, and punctual.
Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
