Overview

The Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) in collaboration with UNFPA Pakistan is launching the Gender-Based Violence Case Management Capacity Building Initiative (GBV CMCBI) 2026.

This initiative aims to support the provision of harmonized, quality, safe, and survivor-centered GBV Case Management (CM) services across Pakistan. The program is designed to build a national pool of certified trainers and strengthen the capacity of frontline GBV actors in line with the Interagency Gender-based Violence Case Management Guidelines.

Key Program Details

  • Phase 1 (Online Course): September – November 2026 (Mandatory 8-week online training)
  • Phase 2 (In-Person ToT): November 2026 | Islamabad, Pakistan

🎯 Who Should Apply?

Applications are invited from social workers, practitioners, and civil service personnel across AJK, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), ICT, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab, and Sindh.

  • Government Officials involved in GBV service delivery
  • GBV Practitioners & Caseworkers from CSOs and NGOs
  • Women-led and Youth-led organizations
  • Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs)
  • Staff from UN Agencies

📋 Eligibility Criteria

  1. Direct Experience: Demonstrated experience in direct service delivery, particularly as a GBV Caseworker.
  2. Survivor-Centered Approach: In-depth understanding and application of GBV Guiding Principles (safety, confidentiality, dignity, self-determination, non-discrimination).
  3. Gender Integration: Experience promoting and integrating gender analysis into development and humanitarian programming.
  4. Facilitation Skills: Proven track record of delivering gender/GBV trainings, workshops, or capacity-building sessions.
  5. Language: Fluency in both English and Urdu.

🔄 Selection Process & Certification

  1. Application Review: Shortlisting based on eligibility and field experience.
  2. 8-Week Online Course: Selected participants will undergo an intensive online program (Sept–Nov 2026) featuring e-learning modules and synchronous interactive sessions.
  3. In-Person Training of Trainers (ToT): Qualified graduates of the online course will be invited to Islamabad in November 2026 for the final ToT certification.
