Community Mobilization, Transition & Learner Enrollment
Conduct community awareness and mobilization sessions to promote transition opportunities for ALP graduates.
Coordinate with parents, guardians, community leaders, and School Management Committees to facilitate the successful transition of ALP graduates.
Support the identification and profiling of eligible ALP graduates for transition pathways.
Facilitate the enrollment of eligible ALP graduates into vocational skills training centers in accordance with the approved beneficiary selection criteria.
Coordinate with nearby formal schools and relevant education authorities to support the mainstreaming of eligible ALP graduates into the formal education system.
Ensure all enrollment and transition documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
Counsel learners and parents on available education and livelihood pathways to support informed decision-making.
Identify barriers to enrollment or transition and report them to the Trade Coordinator for timely resolution.
Maintain updated records of learners mainstreamed into formal schools and those enrolled in skills development centers for project monitoring and reporting.
Attendance Follow-up & Retention Support
Monitor learner attendance on a regular basis.
Conduct follow-up visits and phone calls for absent learners.
Coordinate with families to address issues affecting attendance and retention.
Support the Trade Coordinator in ensuring that learners maintain the required attendance level throughout the training cycle.
Support to Training Activities
Assist in organizing training sessions, orientations, refresher activities, and assessment events.
Support logistical arrangements for training activities.
Help maintain training registers, participant lists, and activity records.
Assist in the distribution of training materials and toolkits as directed by the Trade Coordinator.
Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of community meetings, outreach sessions, and learner enrollment.
Submit regular field updates to the Trade Coordinator.
Document challenges, feedback from communities, and recommendations for improving participation.
Support data collection required for project monitoring and donor reporting.
Safeguarding & Compliance
Promote safe and inclusive participation of learners in all programme activities.
Ensure adherence to Muslim Hands safeguarding, Child Protection, and PSEA policies.
Immediately report any protection concerns through established referral mechanisms.
Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct during community interactions.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in coordination meetings, field visits, and review sessions.
Support awareness campaigns related to skills development, livelihoods, and women’s economic empowerment.
Perform any other task assigned by the Trade
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Education, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in community mobilization, social mobilization, or field coordination.
Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, education, livelihoods, or women empowerment programmes will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage effectively with communities, parents, and local stakeholders.
Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in Sindhi and Urdu; working knowledge of English will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel extensively within the project area.
