Position Overview
KAF is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and mission-driven Project Manager to lead the implementation of its She Plays, She Wins program. The Project Manager will be responsible for end- to-end project coordination, partner management, field implementation, reporting, and internal coordination with M&E and Finance teams. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in the development sector, strong organizational and communication skills, and a genuine passion for girls’ empowerment, sports for development, and social change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day implementation of assigned projects in line with approved proposals, workplans, and budgets
Translate project proposals into detailed activity plans, timelines, and deliverables Ensure timely execution of project activities across multiple regions Coordinate logistics for trainings, camps, workshops, tournaments, and events
Identify, onboard, and coordinate with grassroots partners, schools, coaches, and local stakeholders
Ensure partners adhere to KAF’s safeguarding, gender-sensitive coaching, and reporting standards
Maintain strong working relationships with government departments, schools, and community leaders
Conduct regular follow-ups, field visits, and coordination meetings 3. Team Coordination
Work closely with KAF’s internal team, to ensure coordinated and effective project delivery
Coordinate with trainers, consultants, coaches, and field staff engaged in project activities
Ensure alignment between program implementation, budgets, reporting requirements, and
communication outputs
Support internal coordination by facilitating regular planning meetings, progress reviews,
and follow-ups
Act as a key point of contact between the field teams, partners, and KAF’s senior management
Promote a collaborative, respectful, and accountable team culture in line with KAF’s values
Track project progress against workplans and timelines
Support baseline, monitoring, and evaluation activities
Contribute to donor reports, case studies, and program documentation Review partner reports and ensure timely submission of:
- Activity reports
- Attendance sheets
- Supporting documentation
Travel frequently to project locations for:
- Monitoring visits
- Trainings and camps
- Partner support and troubleshooting
- Provide on-ground support during major project activities
- Youth development
- Gender equality
- Education, sports, or community development
