Plan, coordinate and supervise the implementation of Domestic Stitching and Embroidery training across designated training centers.
Develop training schedules and implementation plans in accordance with project timelines.
Ensure timely availability and proper utilization of training materials, equipment, and toolkits.
Coordinate day-to-day implementation of vocational training activities with field teams and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure training activities are implemented according to approved curricula and technical standards.
Technical Supervision and Quality Assurance
Supervise and mentor Trade Trainers to ensure high-quality practical and theoretical instruction.
Conduct regular monitoring visits to training centers and provide technical guidance to trainers.
Observe practical sessions and ensure competency-based teaching methodologies are followed.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the
training cycle.
Monitor learners' attendance, practical performance, and skill progression.
Ensure safe use and maintenance of sewing machines, embroidery equipment, tools, and training materials.
Capacity Building
Conduct orientation and refresher training sessions for Trade Trainers.
Support trainers in lesson planning, practical demonstrations, learner assessment, and classroom management.
Identify capacity-building needs and recommend technical improvements.
Introduce innovative and market-driven training techniques to improve learning outcomes.
Monitoring, Documentation, and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of training implementation, learner attendance, assessments, and progress.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and activity reports for submission to the Project Manager.
Document achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and success stories.
Ensure complete and accurate training documentation for monitoring and donor reporting.
Trade Assessment and Certification
Coordinate internal practical assessments and competency evaluations.
Support the organization of trade testing and certification processes with the relevant certification authorities.
Verify learner records before certification.
Ensure proper documentation and distribution of toolkits to successful graduates.
Supervise and provide technical and managerial support to Social Mobilizers.
Stakeholder Coordination and Compliance
Liaise with local stakeholders, technical institutes, certification bodies, and market actors to facilitate smooth implementation.
Participate in coordination meetings, monitoring visits, and review sessions.
Support initiatives that strengthen graduates' access to employment, self-employment, and market opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Muslim Hands' policies, safeguarding, Child Protection, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Code of Conduct.
Perform any other task assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor's/Diploma/Certification in Fashion Designing, Textile Design, Clothing & Textiles, Home Economics, Technical Education, Vocational Training, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in vocational skills development, particularly in Domestic Stitching/ Embroidery/Beautician.
Demonstrated experience supervising vocational trainers and managing skills training programmes.
Strong knowledge of competency-based vocational training methodologies and learner assessment.
Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, or TVET programmes will be an added advantage.
Excellent planning, coordination, supervision, monitoring, and reporting skills.
Strong communication, mentoring, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.
Willingness to travel frequently within the project area.
