  • A reputable organization implementing a donor-funded rural development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Team Lead / Value Chain Specialist in Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide overall technical and operational leadership for project implementation.
    • Lead value chain assessments and identify viable agribusiness and market development opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen agricultural value chains, improve productivity, and enhance market access.
    • Facilitate partnerships among producers, private sector enterprises, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders.
    • Supervise project staff and ensure timely execution of project activities in accordance with approved work plans.
    • Coordinate with government departments, donor representatives, and implementing partners to ensure effective project delivery.
    • Monitor project progress, ensure quality assurance, and prepare technical and progress reports.
    • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, contractual obligations, and organizational policies.
    • Perform any other duties assigned by the management relevant to the project.

     

Requirements
  • Qualification

    • Master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

    Experience

    • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in managing and implementing agricultural, rural development, value chain, agribusiness, or private sector development projects.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing donor-funded projects.
    • Proven experience in value chain analysis, market systems development, enterprise development, and Public–Private–Producer Partnerships (4Ps).
    • Experience working with government departments, development partners, private sector organizations, producer organizations, and community institutions.
    • Strong understanding of project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
