  • A reputable organization is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Financial Analyst for a development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, grant and project financial management, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational financial policies and procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic financial analyses to support project implementation.
    • Monitor project expenditures, analyze budget variances, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with donor and organizational requirements.
    • Support grant management by ensuring financial compliance with donor agreements and applicable policies.
    • Maintain effective financial controls and assist in strengthening financial management systems.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits and facilitate timely resolution of audit observations.
    • Support procurement and contract management processes from a financial compliance perspective.
    • Provide financial analysis and decision-support information to project management.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, donor requirements, and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Qualification

    • Master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration (Finance), Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA (Finalist), CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, budgeting, financial management, grant management, or project finance.
    • Experience working on donor-funded development projects will be preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budget preparation, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
    • Sound knowledge of donor financial regulations, procurement and financial compliance requirements, and audit processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
    • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
