  • A reputable organization is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Standard Compliance Specialist for a development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards, regulatory requirements, certification processes, and best practices to enhance the competitiveness and marketability of project-supported enterprises and value chains.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess compliance requirements and support enterprises in adopting applicable national and international quality standards.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, food safety, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
    • Facilitate certification processes, including ISO, HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., GMP, Organic Certification, and other relevant standards.
    • Conduct compliance assessments, gap analyses, and recommend corrective actions for project-supported enterprises.
    • Organize training and capacity-building programs on quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and certification requirements.
    • Coordinate with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, laboratories, and private sector stakeholders.
    • Monitor compliance activities and prepare technical reports, progress reports, and other project documentation.
    • Ensure project interventions are implemented in accordance with donor requirements, national regulations, and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • Qualification

    • Master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Food Technology, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in quality assurance, standards compliance, certification, regulatory compliance, food safety, or quality management systems.
    • Experience working on donor-funded development projects will be preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing national and international standards such as ISO, HACCP, GlobalG.A.P., GMP, Organic Certification, or other relevant certification systems.
    • Experience in supporting SMEs, producer organizations, agribusinesses, and manufacturing enterprises to achieve quality and compliance standards.
    • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, documentation, and report-writing skills.
