A reputable organization is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Agri Business Mobilizer for a development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing agribusiness stakeholders, facilitating enterprise development, strengthening producer organizations, promoting market linkages, and supporting the implementation of project interventions aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and rural livelihoods.
Key Responsibilities
Mobilize farmers, producer organizations, cooperatives, SMEs, and agribusiness enterprises to participate in project activities.
Facilitate the identification and development of agribusiness opportunities and enterprise initiatives.
Support the establishment of market linkages between producers, buyers, processors, input suppliers, and financial institutions.
Organize awareness sessions, training programs, business forums, and stakeholder meetings.
Assist in conducting market assessments and identifying opportunities for value addition and commercialization.
Support field implementation of agribusiness and enterprise development activities in coordination with technical specialists.
Maintain regular liaison with government departments, private sector partners, and community institutions.
Collect field data, prepare progress reports, and maintain project documentation.
Ensure project activities are implemented in accordance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor's (16 years of education preferred) or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in agribusiness development, community mobilization, enterprise development, agricultural extension, value chain development, or rural development.
Experience working on donor-funded development projects will be preferred.
Demonstrated experience in mobilizing farmers, producer organizations, cooperatives, SMEs, and private sector stakeholders.
Experience in organizing training, awareness campaigns, business meetings, and stakeholder consultations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, coordination, and report-writing skills.
Willingness to undertake frequent field travel within project areas.
