  • A reputable organization is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for the position of Gender Integrated Enterprise Development Specialist for a development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting inclusive enterprise development by integrating gender-responsive approaches into entrepreneurship, value chain development, business support services, and market access initiatives, with a particular focus on enhancing economic opportunities for women and youth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and implement gender-responsive enterprise development interventions to promote inclusive economic growth.
    • Identify and support women-led and youth-led enterprises through business planning, mentoring, capacity building, and access to business development services.
    • Integrate gender and social inclusion considerations into enterprise development, value chain, and market linkage activities.
    • Facilitate access to finance, markets, technology, and investment opportunities for women and marginalized entrepreneurs.
    • Coordinate with public and private sector stakeholders to strengthen inclusive business ecosystems.
    • Develop and deliver training programs on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business management, and gender-inclusive business practices.
    • Monitor and report on gender-related outcomes and ensure compliance with donor gender and social inclusion requirements.
    • Prepare technical reports, work plans, progress reports, and other project documentation.
Requirements
  • Qualification

    • Master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) in Gender Studies, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Rural Development, Economics, Agribusiness, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

    Experience

    • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in enterprise development, women's economic empowerment, gender mainstreaming, entrepreneurship promotion, SME development, or private sector engagement.
    • Experience working on donor-funded development projects will be preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing gender-inclusive enterprise development and livelihood interventions.
    • Experience in working with women-led enterprises, producer organizations, cooperatives, SMEs, financial institutions, and government departments.
    • Sound understanding of gender equality, social inclusion, market systems development, and inclusive value chain approaches.
    • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.
