Background
A reputable organization invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals for the position of Education Specialist to support the effective implementation of an education development project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Key Responsibilities
Lead academic planning and implementation across assigned schools.
Develop and implement School Improvement Plans (SIPs) to enhance learning outcomes.
Design and conduct teacher professional development and capacity-building programs.
Monitor classroom instruction and provide pedagogical support to teachers and school heads.
Develop academic monitoring tools, assessment frameworks, and performance tracking systems.
Analyze student learning data and recommend evidence-based interventions.
Ensure compliance with project standards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality assurance requirements.
Support curriculum implementation, co-curricular activities, and child-centered teaching methodologies.
Coordinate with education authorities, school management, and project teams.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual academic progress reports.
Promote inclusive education practices, child protection standards, and gender-responsive approaches.
Duty Station
Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with frequent travel to project districts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as required.
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Master's Degree (16 Years of Education) in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Planning & Management, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in education sector programs, school improvement initiatives, teacher training, education management, or development projects.
Experience with government education projects, NGOs, INGOs, or donor-funded programs will be preferred.
Experience in teacher mentoring, monitoring & evaluation, learning assessments, and education quality improvement will be an added advantage.
Required Competencies
Sound knowledge of curriculum implementation and modern teaching methodologies.
Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to travel extensively within project areas.
