Serve as the primary focal person for all volunteers and external organizations, including universities, colleges, and community groups, interested in conducting educational or engagement activities within the schools.
Review, evaluate, and assess volunteer proposals and activity plans to ensure they align with organizational objectives, student learning needs, and school policies before approval.
Provide constructive feedback, professional guidance, and practical suggestions to volunteers for improving the quality, relevance, and effectiveness of their proposed sessions and activities.
Coordinate closely with school principals and administration to assign suitable classes, sections, schedules, and locations for volunteer activities to ensure smooth execution without disrupting regular academic operations.
Facilitate clear and effective communication between volunteers, external organizations, and school management to ensure proper planning, expectations, and follow-up.
Monitor volunteer-led classroom sessions and engagement activities to ensure quality standards are maintained and that the sessions remain beneficial, age-appropriate, and relevant for students.
Regularly obtain feedback from principals, teachers, and where required, students regarding the effectiveness, discipline, and overall impact of volunteer sessions for continuous improvement.
Maintain complete and accurate records of volunteer applications, approvals, attendance, activity reports, feedback, and overall engagement history for proper documentation and future reference.
Prepare periodic reports for management regarding volunteer engagement, program outcomes, institutional partnerships, and recommendations for strengthening volunteer participation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, educational institutions, and community organizations to expand volunteer opportunities and promote long-term collaboration.
Ensure compliance with school safeguarding policies, professional conduct standards, and institutional expectations during all volunteer activities.
Facilitate the issuance of appreciation letters or certificates to volunteers based on performance evaluation, attendance, feedback received, and successful completion of their assigned activities.
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related social science field i.e. development studies, international relations, public policy, and others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & Urdu)
Excellent follow-up, organization, and time-management skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
Prior experience in the same role will be an advantage
